Back in the game.

As I mentioned in my previous post, it looks like the agency that replaced me with in-house workers at significant expense in late 2024 may definitely be having a bit of a re-think about it. I’ve been brought in to shoot some big, prestige houses in the last few weeks - all in the Durham area though. It’s a welcome boost to revenue, but a pain when it comes to the consequent return of rather long car journeys and complicated diary management.

The few large houses I’ve shot so far in March have all involved technical challenges which are my speciality. If your regular guy or gal can’t get it done then rest assured, I will. I’ve got kit that can handle any sort of interior nightmare - ceilings painted orange, pine-clad walls (got one of those tomorrow), bright windows and dark interiors, huge rooms, tiny rooms, cellars, neon lights - it doesn’t matter, because I’ve got it. The re-emergence of prestige work means I can continue adding to my portfolio, and eventually move my workflow across to medium format to give myself that unique look I’m striving for.

My new portfolio booklets are with me now - and they’re looking pretty good. They cost a small fortune though, so I need to be selective with who gets them. I’m always selective anyway though - no run of the mill clients nowadays. You can see a pdf of the bad boy below.
