They think it’s all over………..

Every year at about this time, the Christmas trees go up, the garish garlands are hung, and the ridiculous inflatable Santas are plonked outside the front doors of new-build estates nationwide. This the sign that it’s all over for me for the rest of the year - the presence of a 6ft pine in the corner of a lounge means this old boy gets a couple of weeks rest………until now.

Bloody generative AI has created a situation where I can simply draw a circle around any offending item, click a box, and allow the software to create a nice clean wall or replacement table with flowers on or whatever.

I utilised this in a house nearby for owners who wanted to go market before the end of the year, but couldn’t compromise on getting the decs up before December got underway.

A simple edit got rid of the tree, elf, and wall pictures - removing the date-specific nature of the image. In the past, I’d be asked to revisit (in my own time and at my own cost) to repeat the shots in the new year. It truly is a game-changer.
