Secret Section 2

After squeezing as much as I could out of the press and PR world, I got a break with the prestige outdoor brand Barbour after doing a test shoot of some products in their warehouse. Initially, I did flat-shots on a white board for £300 a day until their range and requirements suddenly went stratospheric, and I was forced to increase my capabilities and capacity quickly. I opened The Clothworks Studio in the east end of Newcastle, kitted it out with custom areas dedicated to different types of clothing, and upgraded my gear to be able to handle anything thrown at me. I shot their products from the studio for 4 years - doing the job of 20 people with the help of my stylists. I’m very proud of my output during this time, and the end of the road was very disappointing in terms of how I was treated. I ended the lease and closed the studio on the 1st August 2014 with no idea of how I was going to survive. Barbour did in fact bungle the planned opening of their in-house studio, so I got one more campaign of shooting in that facility which gave me a basic income for the following six months as I developed a presence in the real-estate photography world.

So here’s the second secret gallery for you - some highlights of my glamour years.
