January Blues

Late last year, I wrote about my expectations regarding the substantial financial challenges ahead brought about primarily due to the sudden loss of a major estate agency client. The potential ramifications were quite serious, although I was confident in my ability to mitigate that loss by streamlining and venturing out to gain new, higher-value work.

Nothing to worry about - I don’t know why I was concerned.

January has provided a 75% increase in revenue compared to 2024, which was an unexpected turn of events to be honest. My local clients have been exceptionally busy, and my expired client has started to send bits of work my way again.

I’ve had a huge and challenging residential job to do recently, which went a bit viral on the various “spotted on Rightmove” forums spread across ze interweb - more on that in a future post. For now though, it’s back to the task in hand.
