Indecent Exposure
Most weeks I see some sort of advert for a property I’ve shot posing as an article in the local press, but this week is only the second time I’ve seen one in the national press.
I was sent to photograph an old warehouse space in the middle of a North Shields industrial estate which had been converted into a huge residential gaff valued at £800K. Now in the southeast, that would get you something like a 4-bedroomed semi in the suburbs, but in this neck of the woods, you’re looking at a lot of real estate for your hard-earned inheritance.
The press contacted me beforehand to check I was ok to allow the publication - being the copyright holder, and I was told that I’d be credited.
As it happened, they ran the article with credits to the estate agent. Nothing new there - the photographer is always at the bottom of the pile in this industry.
Anyway, I’ll let the reader decide whether it’s worth the cash or not.
